Your account
Delete your Savart account
You can ask us to delete your Savart account and personal data at any time, from the Savart app or by email. Here is how it works.
Delete your account in the app
- Open the Savart app and sign in.
- Go to Account → Settings → Delete account.
- Choose a reason if you like (it is optional), then tap Request account deletion.
The same screen shows the status of your request, and lets you cancel it while it is still open.
Or ask us by email
If you cannot use the app, email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my Savart account”. Write from the email address on your account, or include the mobile number you sign in with. We will confirm it is you before we act on the request.
What happens next
- Seven-day cooling-off. Nothing is deleted straight away. Your account stays open for seven days after your request, and you can cancel at any time in that period.
- While your request is open you can still sign in and read your reports, but you cannot buy, upgrade or renew an advisory plan. Cancel the request if you change your mind.
- Review. After the seven days, our team reviews the request. If something has to be settled first, such as an open support request or a gift plan you bought for someone else, we will contact you.
- Deletion. We then delete your account and tell you when it is done. The app shows each step.
What we delete
- Your sign-in and profile details.
- Your financial profile: income, assets, loans, goals, family details and insurance.
- Your linked portfolio, holdings and broker connections.
- Your devices, notification settings, rewards and referrals.
- Your support requests and messages, except where they form part of the records below.
For 30 days after deletion we keep a secured backup, only so that a deletion made in error can be reversed. It is then removed.
What we must keep by law
Savart is registered with SEBI as an investment adviser and must follow SEBI’s record-keeping rules and the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. If you have:
- received investment advice from us,
- made a payment to us, or
- had identity (KYC) documents approved,
we must keep those records: the advice and its supporting records, payments and invoices, and your approved KYC documents. In that case we close your account and remove your other personal data, and keep only these records, securely and with restricted access, for as long as the law requires (at least five years). They are not used for marketing.
KYC documents that were rejected, or uploaded and never reviewed, are deleted automatically after 30 days whether or not you ask.
